Why a Centrifugal Exhauster?

There are a number of reasons why choosing a Centrifugal Exhauster System often can be advantageous.

    • Installation costs
    • Maintenance costs
    • Reliability
    • Energy consumption
    • No liquid (e.g. Water sealants) necessary
    • Weight and dimensions
    • Life time costs

By installing a multi-stage centrifugal exhauster at Greif Board Corp., Massillion, Ohio, power requirements to supply necessary vacuum for paper dewatering have been cut I half. The vacuum system previously in use, had consumed 750 kW of electric power. The centrifugal exhauster that replaced it uses only about 350 kW to achieve the same result. Their savings for reduced electricity costs have been about $9000/month or about $100000 for an annum.
